Profile Stories
For the very first time in the history of Profile's website we present you the very inner core of our factory's functions: the stories of our production workers. In the first part of this series vehicle furnisher Juha-Pekka Kumpulainen will tell you a bit about his work and also his spare time. More of these interesting stories will follow in the future posts.
A blast from from the past
Iikori/Profile has also innovated, designed and manufactured new kind of solutions and equipment for rescue vehicles. For example an electro-hydraulic stretcher platform with height adjustments and suspension. This system was very popular on the 90's.
This week we have a blast from the past!
In the photo, the founder of Iikori Ky (later Profile Vehicles Oy), CEO Kosti Repo, standing on front right with his colleagues. On the back you can see the first ambulance ever built by this company. It was delivered to Kangasniemi ambulance service in September 1982.

New Profile Progrez, Volkswagen Crafter
The Profile Progrez is a modern, largely customized ambulance that was designed to meet the toughest demands of today’s emergency care professionals. Manufactured on a dependable Volkswagen Crafter / Man TGE chassis and produced in accordance with EN 1789 regulations, the hardworking and visually appealing Progrez represents our trusted design and manufacturing experience.

Patient transportation version (A) was introduced at Rettmobil. We further develop Progrez to cover also other EMS needs.

The Genios is manufactured on a trusted Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis and is produced in accordance with EN 1789 regulations.

Plus, the Genios is modular, offering plenty of safe and useful features for you to choose from, including different chassis models.
